Have you lost all of your upper or lower teeth or are you at risk of losing these teeth?

Are you unwilling to accept a life with poorly-fitting dentures?

Does your active lifestyle dictate that you need teeth that are durable and stable?

Do you expect your replacement teeth to look beautiful and natural?

These are all valid and common needs that every patient

wants to have fulfilled and the

 All-on-Four procedure can deliver

Hassling with a denture that slips, slides, and irritates the gums can be frustrating and painful.  A denture that makes a clicking noise during eating or speaking can be embarrassing.  False teeth that look bulky or require gobs of denture adhesive can rob you of your self-confidence.  If you have been told that you are not a candidate for traditional dental implants, you may have felt defeated.

The All-on-4 treatment concept was developed to provide patients, who have lost all their teeth or will be losing all their teeth, with an efficient and effective restoration using only four implants to support immediately loaded full-arch prosthesis. (Meaning the implants are placed and the teeth on the same appointment)….you walk out with new teeth!!!

The All-on-4 technique allows our oral surgeon to place the implants at strategic angles designed to compensate for bone loss and increase stability and most times avoid the need for bone grafting. With the implants in place, your new teeth can be attached and you may resume a normal diet almost immediately. Dental implant patients are finding that the bone loss normally associated with traditional dentures is no longer a concern, and the relief of a denture that never slips is refreshing.  The replacement teeth that are permanently secured also begin to feel as if they are your own teeth in no time.

About All on 4 Dental Implants: How the Protocol Works

Like dentures, All-on-4 dental implants are designed for patients who are missing most or all of their teeth as well as those who are probably about to lose them. Like dentures, the “All-on-4” replaces an entire dental arch that has become irreparably damaged, decayed and/or has already gone missing. However, this is where comparisons end.

The All-on-4 technique makes use of four titanium screws – or dental implants – that are strategically inserted by our implant dentist at angles to take advantage of what healthy bone remains in the jaw. A prosthetic dental bridge that looks like a full set of natural teeth is then attached to the implants to complete the process; hence the name “All-on-4” (see image above).

The Benefits of All on 4 Dental Implants

Imagine eating a steak, corn on the cob, or biting into an apple. Our patients who choose All-on-4 dental implants as their teeth replacement solution are able to eat the foods they once loved and don’t have to worry about their new teeth (which aren’t bulky like dentures) harboring food debris and bacteria.

All-on-4 implants are brushed and cared for just like natural teeth, which eliminates the need to remove them after meals and at nighttime. No longer will you be hassled to take your dentures out for cleaning at inopportune moments.

Imagine laughing or even sneezing without having to worry about your dentures falling out. All-on-4 dental implants can give you fixed (non-removable) teeth that allow you to experience all of life’s subtle pleasantries without the fear and embarrassment that come with wearing dentures. That’s a reason to smile in itself.

Why Replace Dentures with Dental Implants?

By their very nature, dentures don’t look and feel natural and, in all likelihood, never will. While the “All-on-4” may initially cost a little more than dentures, the benefits far outweigh the costs and in any case, in the long term, they work out to be far more cost effective.

• All-on-4 implants are fixed and non-removable, so they feel more comfortable and more natural than removable dentures.

• Dental implants help to prevent bone absorption (shrinking) by keeping the underlying jawbone stimulated and healthy. This preserves the integrity of your youthful facial contours.

• Patients can enjoy the taste of all the foods they love again. They can also fully experience their food’s texture and temperature, since they don’t have a bulky piece of plastic floating about in their mouths.

• All-on-4 implants do not require messy adhesives, anesthetic gels, soaking solutions and other repeat denture expenses.

• Dental implants, if cared for properly, can last several decades and even a lifetime!

All on 4 Dental Implants: Same-Day Treatment

The “All-on-4” is precisely designed to bypass the need for bone grafting surgery: a procedure typically required to augment bone volume in patients who have suffered from an advanced degree of jawbone atrophy. This is an additional procedure that is not only expensive and painful for patients to go through; it also requires several months of healing before the jawbone is ready to accept dental implants.  By avoiding the need for bone grafting, patients are likely to enjoy the advantages of fixed and non-removable teeth right after a single examination and consultation with a qualified and experienced implant dentist.

The All-on-4 is the modern solution for all missing teeth. This treatment concept replaces your missing teeth with a FullDentalBridge, No Palate, No Excess Material, Not Removable, and supported by only Four Specialty Dental Implants, with two of the Implants placed at precise angles. With less implants needed, overall treatment time is reduced. The unique All-on-4 solution also ensures greater stability in the bone, reducing the need for bone graft surgery to increase bone volume. Your teeth will look, feel and are brushed much like natural teeth, and you can lead a normal life immediately after a 1 Day surgery. Studies indicate that Patients receive 90-95% chewing ability. Your quality of life is improved and you can start enjoying your favorite foods again.90% of Patients that have been told they are not candidates for traditional Dental Implant Options are candidates for this procedure. This procedure uses the frontal area of the jaw and in most cases requires no bone grafting or sinus augmentation.

What makes this procedure different?

Considering the fact that the frontal part of the jaw has the more dense bone, instead of the conventional method of placing the Implant straight into the bone (which can require sinus lift and bone grafting) and minimum 6 to 9 months waiting time and healing time, this technique differentiates by placing the back Implants at an angle. Not only do you benefit from the dense bone in the frontal part of the jaw, but we can place a longer Implant, with a much less invasive procedure, without entering into the sinus cavity on the upper arch.

How long is the procedure?

The surgery takes 2 hours per arch and you will get a permanently fixed set of teeth in just one day!

Is there going to be pain?

Since the surgery is much less invasive, is performed under local anesthetic, and the Patient is given anti-inflammatory medication prior to surgery, there is little to no discomfort and swelling.

What about healing time?

No healing time or bone integration is required to secure the Fixed appliance onto the Implant due to the fact that the Implants are anchored into the bone. The usual 6-9 month bone integration is not required in most cases because we gain solid primary stability at the initial placement of these Specialized Implants.
