Our Team

Michael practiced as a Certified Denturist in Calgary for 15 years, owning the Market Mall Denture Clinic from 1995 until 2007. He has held leadership roles in executive organizations for over 20 years. He was the Chair of the Examination Committee for licensing denturists in Alberta. Michael received the prestigious Order of Merit Award from the College of Alberta Denturists for outstanding contributions to the profession.

He left Calgary in 2007 to care for ailing parents, moved to Edmonton and began working at NAIT teaching denture students. Michael was an instructor in the Denturist program at NAIT from 2007 until 2020 when he and Debby purchased Natural Choice Dentures. In 2019 NAIT presented Michael with the Award of Distinction for Outstanding Instruction.

After 15 years of private practice and 13 years of teaching, both of Michael and Debby’s children were inspired to enter the profession and they are now licensed Denturists and practice side-by-side with Michael and Debby to provide exceptional denture and implant services to their patients and dental offices in the greater Edmonton area.

Mason was licensed as a Denturist in the summer of 2018. When he first started his career he wanted to find a clinic that best suited his unique personality and set of skills. Mason worked in an implant dental office, where he practiced hand in hand with dentists that taught implantology mentorship programs. While Mason worked at this office he was in charge of making surgical guides, fixed and removable implant prosthetics as well as standard partial and complete dentures. Being in this environment for many years, he was exposed to many surgeries, implant courses, and case studies. Using this experience as a learning opportunity, Mason left at the beginning of 2024 to join Natural Choice Dentures full time. Mason’s experience with high level implant technology is an asset to our clinic, allowing us to provide our patients with the confidence of treatment and an understanding towards implants many denturists do not have.

Mason has many hobbies outside of the time he spends at the office. In the summer he can be found outside working on one of his many ambitious projects. He enjoys swapping engines in his cars, Tig welding, pouring concrete, and operating heavy equipment while landscaping his acerage. He is always willing to go on adventures with his 2 German Shepards “Frankie & Mikey”. Mason is an avid skier and snowboarder and spends many of his weekends skiing in the mountains. Mason has been working at Snow Valley Ski Club since 2013, which is where he met his wife Valeriya in 2015. She was snowboarding with a friend and Mason was working the chairlift. Valeriya and Mason got married in the fall of 2019. Mason works hard to stay healthy and enjoys the pursuit of pushing himself toward an equal work life balance.

Sarah was inspired to pursue a career in the dental field from a young age, because of its combination of sciences and artistic fundamentals. She was a graduate from the Dental Assisting Diploma program at NAIT in 2016. Sarah practiced as a Dental Assistant for many years. She has worked alongside many dentists and took a special interest in surgical dentistry. This included assisting in the placement of dental implants, educating, and caring for patients going through the process of dental surgery.

Sarah furthered her studies and graduated from the NAIT Denturist Technology program in 2020 and now practices as a full-time Denturist. She often utilizes the skills that her dental assisting provided her and strives to treat each patient with the utmost respect and customized care. Sarah is happy to be part of the family business here at Natural Choice Dentures and looks forward to building relationships with all her patients.

Outside of work, Sarah enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter, along with their two dogs. She enjoys thrift shopping, and being outside with her baby.

Debby brings a wealth of expertise and over 12 years of experience as the former owner and manager of the successful Market Mall Denture Clinic in Calgary. Since 2020, Debby has served as the Office Manager at Natural Choice Denture Clinic, where her leadership and attention to detail ensure unparalleled customer satisfaction. Her extensive career also includes invaluable years of service with Alberta Health Services in Edmonton, where she honed her skills and commitment to excellence.

Debby’s dedication extends beyond her professional role. She is devoted to creating a warm, welcoming environment for patients, bringing her creativity, organization, and nurturing spirit into every interaction. As a loving wife, mother, Oma, and caregiver to her cherished fur babies, Debby’s passion for care shines in every facet of her life. Visitors to the clinic will immediately feel the thoughtful and professional atmosphere she cultivates.

Debby and her husband Michael lead by example through hard work, dedication, and a strong commitment to family. Their legacy of care continues through their children, Sarah and Mason, who now join them as denturists in their state-of-the-art family run business.

Hannah is our Receptionist/Treatment Coordinator and one of the first people you will meet when you call or come into the office. Hannah brings several years of dental experience with her.

When Hannah is not at the clinic working, she enjoys being active in summer sports, traveling and experimenting with ethnic cuisines.
